To prevent tourists travel sites general searches on the Internet

ABTA, the trade body for travel companies, the research of its annual report, which showed, travel companies hired not be able to use their websites to sell goals efficiently.

According to research, 41 percent of respondents in all age groups to use general search on the internet for ideas and inspiration for your next stay in the amount of 46 percent of young people aged 16-24 years.

Meanwhile, 36 percent of all age groups chosen travel brochures for ideas and 34 percent asked for recommendations from friends and family, the old increased from 49 percent of those aged 16-24 years.

But the websites of the airlines were low on the list of sources of ideas, with only 15 percent of respondents using this method, a slight increase from 17 percent of young people aged 16-24 reported old.

The general trends of the report showed a slight decrease in the number of days in the 12 months to August 2014, 80 percent a vacation in the country or abroad in this period compared to 83 percent in 2013.

Among those, 68 percent took a holiday in the last 12 months, a break in the UK, while 53 percent took holidays abroad.

But a growing number of people have not a holiday at all in the last 12 months compared to 10 percent in 2011, 20 percent.

Commenting on the results, Mark Tanzer, Chief Executive said ABTA: "The last 12 months have been varied, from the perspective of trust and consumer sales.

"Our members have reported a growth market with sales of high consumer confidence and a strong start to the season. Since then we have seen consumer confidence and soften a mixed picture for the Christmas sales."
